Hats off to Autumn!

Sunday, September 28, 2014

Hi girls!

So I'm finally making progress with my autumn wardrobe and I thought it would be the perfect time to show you one of my favourite outfits so far!

As I am sure many of you are aware I am becoming a little bit obsessed with Laundry Boutique on my Instagram profile! I was lucky enough to choose one of my favourite items on their website and of course, I just had to show you all!

The crossover blouse is the Laundry Boutique beauty! It has the most gorgeous gold edged stitching detail that really adds a classy touch! I am wearing it in a size Medium and it is the perfect fit! Have a little look here! I decided to style it with a classic pair of jeans, which by the way were a bargain from Primark! Alongside a gorgeous necklace I was gifted by Rubys Rocks - they offer some gorgeous statement jewellery at unbelievable prices! Check them out here! The hat is from Next and I feel it added a nice touch to the whole look.

Finally, the shoes are from Simmi shoes and are unbelievably comfortable! I will definitely be wearing them throughout AW14 and I am looking forward to styling them with different outfits! They are available here. For all of your shoe needs have a look at their whole website!

This week I am also LOVING..

This Chanel inspired coat is available from Laundry Boutique here and it is definitely on my birthday wishlist! Why not treat yourself? Fancy getting 10% off as well? Type in code PRGIRL10 upon checkout and save!

I am also completely in love with these classic Chelsea boots! They are from Simmi Shoes and are available here. They are so simple and look stylish with any outfit, plus black never goes out of fashion! 2nd Item on my wishlist!

Verity Anne Clothing!

Sunday, September 21, 2014

Good evening girls!

This week I decided to blog a gorgeous co-ord from the stylish online store, Verity Anne Clothing. I was gifted this piece whilst at a blogging event and I can honestly say it is one of my favourite outfits at the moment! Verity Anne Clothing offers handmade, on-trend fashion pieces at such reasonable prices. It still amazes me that everything on offer is handmade!

This is called the Maddy Two Piece and is available for £35 here! I paired it up with my new Public Desire beauties, available here! I also styled it with my favourite Marc Jacobs watch, (here) and an adorable handmade bracelet by SGC Bracelets, available to order here.

I love the outfit as it is perfect for the transition into AW and it can be worn both during the day, or at night time depending on the occasion! It is safe to say I have become a little bit obsessed with the wide variety on offer from Verity Anne and there are some amazing pieces new in that I just have to share with you...

How cute is this 'Kimberly' jacket?! Perfect for AW styled with chunky boots and boyfriend jeans! Have a little look here! Definitely one to add to my birthday wishlist!

And finally.. the Thea two-piece!

This is another one of my favourite items on the website and I love the fact that it is made with jersey material - nice and thick for AW! Available now here. I would strongly recommend having a little look!

Rock on Ruby!

Sunday, September 14, 2014

Hi ladies,

I had to share with you a new love of mine named 'Rock on Ruby'! An online fashion site enabling you to customize tees and bags - perfect right?! Definitely something right up my street and when Rock on Ruby asked me to design a tote bag I knew I had to make a catchy slogan!

I had a few ideas for my slogan tote bag (with a little help from my mum) and I decided to go for 'If you wanna be my lover you gotta get with my trends' - being a huge Spice Girls fan I thought it was perfect! I shared my ideas with the lovely ladies at Rock on Ruby and they too agreed that was the best slogan! I also love how my blog name is on the opposite side of the bag!

You can create custom crops, tees, tote bags and bum bags - I think it is slightly addictive as I now want to customize more items! The prices are so reasonable and perfect for you girlies that are fed up of having the same clothes as everyone else- you can add your own personal touch!

I styled my tote with River Island's boyfriend jeans and my Public Desire chunky shoes. My tee is from Missguided and it is new in!

Check out Rock on Ruby here and why not create your own slogan?!

Thank you for reading and I hope to see some of you with your own stylish totes and crops soon!

What's in my make up bag?

Sunday, September 07, 2014

Okay ladies, so if you're anything like me you are constantly trying new make up products and wondering what other girls are using! So, I decided to do a post purely on what contents are in my make up bag!

Make up has always been an important part of my life - don't get me wrong I always have days without it but I suffered with acne as a teenager and so I was constantly trying new products to attempt to cover it up! Although, when I was 16 I was lucky enough to have IPL laser treatment on my face to diminish the scarring. Since then, I have tried endless foundations, mascaras and lipsticks but at the moment I am happy with my choice of products!

Primer: L'OREAL 'Lumi Magique' - I find this product really gives me an even glow whilst covering up any redness.

Foundation: My daytime foundation is Clinique's Even Better and at night I use MAC's Studio Sculpt.

Concealer: I use a Sleek cosmetics concealer and highlighter, a MAC concealer and I also have a Bobbi Brown concealer but I do not use them all at the same time - I usually just pick whatever I fancy on the day!

Blusher: I use a Rimmel blusher and have done for quite some time now!

Powder: MAC Studio Fix

Contour products: MAC beauty balm and 'elumineur' highlighter.

Eyebrows: Sleek Cosmetics

Mascara: I use a Chanel mascara and a Rimmel mascara together.

Eyeliner: Benefit 'They're Real' push-up liner - it is amazing!

Eyelashes: I usually use Eylure number 107's but I also love MAC lashes.

Eyeshadow palette: MAC - this was quite pricey but it is such an investment - such a range of gorgeous colours!

Lipsticks: My 'going-out' fave is MAC, my daytime fave is Bourjois and my everyday lip balm is a Collection 2000 lipstick balm.

I also think it is so important to clean your brushes and so I use a MAC brush cleanser.

The variety of products I have listed are my top make up items! It may look as if I am obsessed with MAC but I was lucky enough to receive a MAC voucher that came with a makeover so I was able to save a lot on all of the products - thankfully! It makes a perfect gift for Christmas if you are unsure what to ask for!
A £50 voucher comes with either a makeover or a make up lesson! I know I will be asking Santa for the same present again this year!
