WET LOOK!

Sunday, August 31, 2014

I am soooo glad that faux leather and the 'wet look' style is making a full comeback into AW14! There are some gorgeous items varying from high end to high street! So, naturally, this week I ordered some gorgeous bits from my fave trusty sites Missguided and Public Desire!

The best thing about faux leather is that it enables us girls to keep up to date with current trends at affordable prices! Although, I do believe that you can't go wrong with a genuine leather jacket - they never go out of fashion! Anyway, the look I have created is on trend yet very reasonably priced!

The wet- look zip leggings were just £11.99 and are available here - they come in sizes S/M and M/L.
The black shine ankle boots are from Public Desire and are incredibly comfortable! Check them out here
My new fave slogan tee also is from Missguided and is available here
Finally, my leather jacket is from Mango but I brought it a few years ago - safe to say it is a timeless piece!

Badia Boutique!

Monday, August 25, 2014

Hello!

So some of you may have heard about an online boutique called 'Badia' - if not, you are missing out! Badia Boutique have an online site and an Ebay account also - perfect for a bargain!

I have chosen my top 5 favourite items to show you!

The Jemima Necklace: Available Here

The Be Happy Feather Bracelet: Available Here

The Georgiana Necklace: Available Here

The Phoebe Necklace: Available Here

Finally, my favourite novelty Pineapple earrings: Available Here

I absolutely love costume jewellery - you can look the part without breaking the bank! As you can imagine, I was very excited when I was approached by Badia to style some of their gorgeous collection! All of the necklaces I have styled are extremely lightweight which make them easy to wear and I simply cannot believe the quality of the items! I am forever looking on their website to view items that are new in! They are perfect for gifts or for a little treat to yourself - especially when they arrive individually wrapped in tissue paper with Badia Boutique stickers (no need to buy wrapping paper or hunt for sellotape!) I would strongly recommend purchasing a few of their items girls!

Pepper Mayo & Public Desire

Sunday, August 17, 2014

Hi!

So last week I decided it was time to get into the AW14 mindset! In doing so, I purchased two essential items that are perfect for both the end of summer and the beginning of autumn/winter!

The gorgeous camel jacket is from Pepper Mayo (an Australian online store) and it is an absolute essential. It is currently sold out so I am relieved I brought it when I did but I'm sure they will get more stock in! I love the fact that the sleeves can be rolled up or left kept down and it is so lightweight also!

The killer shoes are by Public Desire (my1stwish) and are called the 'Kelis Black Cleated Sole Platform Heel Shoes.' After admiring their collection for quite some time I decided to order myself a pair, and, I can honestly say they are some of the comfiest pairs of shoes I own! They are so easy to walk in, unlike many pairs of platform heels, and I loved how well they suited the Pepper Mayo Jacket. Definitely £29.99 well spent!

I accessorized the outfit with my Marc Jacobs watch and a Badia Boutique 'Be Happy' bracelet that I will be blogging about very soon!

I have been so excited to blog this outfit as it is one of my favourite ones at the moment!

Cigarette Trousers!

Monday, August 11, 2014

I decided that for this blog post I would do a look-book based blog on Cigarette Trousers. I have recently brought two pairs and have just discovered a love for them! The styles I picked were both classy, fashionable yet very reasonably priced.

This pair are from River Island and can be found in the 'new-in' section in-stores and online. I love the fact that there is such a variety of colours in them as it means you can always find co-ordinating colours to match! They are perfect for work, lunch with the ladies or a date night. They are priced at £40.00 and all sizes are still available online so get in there fast!

The above dogtooth pair are from Topshop and are priced at £42.00. I have worn this pair both on a night out and during the day and felt completely comfortable both times. They are also available both in-store and online!

Both bags featured in this blog post are from Zara and are still in-store now! My shoes are from Primark and were a little bargain! My watch is from Marc Jacobs and the blazer featured in one photo is from River Island.

Mad for Missguided

Thursday, August 07, 2014

Like many girls, Missguided is my perfect hub for all things fashion - without the hassle of going shopping! (Although, that is never really a problem for me)!

I am really into midi skirts at the moment after a lot of deliberation about whether they suited me! As I have said before, I am quite short and very curvy so I am still experimenting with different outfit styles! Saying that,  Missguided have such a variety of midi skirts on offer but I found the perfect girly one for me! Floral print, lace and nude/pink = my kind of skirt!

I paired my skirt with Missguided's bardot frill crop top - it is one of my all-time fave crops! I find it really easy to coordinate outfits with! I was also kindly sent a gorgeous, girly necklace from  'Popamorexo'. They have such a variety of statement, subtle and colourful necklaces I would strongly recommend checking them out on Instagram!

All of the items I have blogged are still for sale online - don't miss out!
Missguided Bardot Frill Crop Top: £12.99
Missguided Mesh Panel Midi Skirt: £14.99
Popamore Necklace: £8

I have lots of new outfit posts planned and I cannot wait to blog them!

Lipsy love Michelle!

Sunday, August 03, 2014

Okay, for a while now I have been absolutely obsessed with Michelle Keegan's range for Lipsy London! So, last week I finally managed to pop to Westfield to the Lipsy store!

The collection offers classy, high-trend and good quality items for such reasonable prices! There is such a variety ranging from jumpsuits, dresses, jackets and pencil skirts! There were so many items I could have brought but I'm trying to budget at the moment (trying being the operative word) but still, I could not resist one item in particular!

I opted for the nude pleated bandeau dress which was one of my favourite items in the collection and luckily there was one left in my size!

I am very curvy so was slightly nervous of how it would fit, but nonetheless I had to buy it! I paired my dress up with my classic Guess suede heels and a small black clutch bag. The dress also has adjustable straps which is perfect if you don't feel comfortable with bandeau dresses! Girls, have a look at the collection - you will not be disappointed!

I usually wear my hair straight with going-out dresses but I decided curly hair would make the whole look more glamorous. My friend Laura styled my hair for me and used a volume booster tool to give my hair some much-needed volume and finished it with a lovely plait at the back of my hair!
